EMDR associations around the world aim to establish, maintain and promote the highest standards of excellence and integrity in EMDR practice, research and education. However, not all practitioners who have completed EMDR professional training, choose to be listed on the association’s website. If you cannot find someone local therapist through your local EMDR association, an Internet search should give you more options. EMDR Europe is the official professional association in Europe. As of 2017, its members are Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Luxembourg, The Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Russia, Serbia, Spain, Slovakia, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, Ukraine and United Kingdom.
